T.S.O.L. — Also known as “True Sounds Of Liberty.” Yes, that is cheesy.
This is not as good as I remember. Kinda roots rock, kinda punk, and kinda boring. There are a couple good tracks, but I don’t think we’ll keep it. Maybe I need to give it another listen. Five years later they would have more hair, more tatoos, more leather, and way more hairspray. Oof.
Etched in the vinyl margins:
- “TWO DAYS TILL THE END OF WHEN I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO THINK”
- “GOT YOUR CODE BLUE HANGIN”
This was my fav album so maybe you need to listen to it to decide.
One of my favorite albums, a timeless classic. I love Joe Wood’s dark and moody vocals.
