And The Jam&#8217;s <em>This is the Modern World<\/em> deserves a proper listen, or a few. You get your money&#8217;s worth with a total of 13 songs. All of them are exquisitely naked, mod, and short. There&#8217;s only one song over three minutes, and there&#8217;s one cover, a mod-punked out version of Wilson Pickett&#8217;s &#8220;In the Midnight Hour.&#8221; Looks like <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/This_Is_The_Modern_World\">I disagree<\/a> with The Jam critics, historians and maybe even Paul Weller himself, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imheavyduty.com\/2006\/10\/05\/the-jam-setting-sons\/\">again<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Back to the doughnuts. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lumenlab.com\/store\/\">Who wants one<\/a>?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artist: The Jam Title: This is the Modern World Year: 1977 Format: Vinyl 12 in.
